Activities au grand chalet:
Private Hire: Le Grand Chalet provides the perfect setting for your event be it a private business lunch, family get-together, sporting meet-up or cocktails on the terrace and around the pool.
Retreats and workshops: Le Grand Chalet is a great place to hold creative workshops such as photography, yoga, creative writing, cooking demonstrations and musical evenings. Either bring your own group and instructors or we can provide occasional instructors and courses for you. Please email for details.
Aspet events: Aspet is host to the summer jazz festival and regular traditional festivities and concerts are held in and around the village throughout the year. It has also been fortunate enough to have had Le Tour de France pass through four times in the past twelve years - and, on each occasion, right past Le Grand Chalet's front door!
LGC Ateliers Culinaires/Cooking demonstrations: Le Grand Chalet is delighted to host cooking demonstrations from September to May. The menus reflect the seasons and use local produce where possible.
Picnics: Why not plan a day out in the mountains with a picnic? There are so many beautiful and accessible walks in the area, not all of which require a guide. Homemade pies and cake, fruit, juice and water, perhaps a bottle/half bottle of wine, and you have an alfresco feast!
Bike rental: LGC is delighted to be affiliated with 02Bikes. Electric and classic bikes are available for adults and children. Available by the half a day and full day. Explore the surrounding area with ease! Maps of routes provided.
Massage Treatments: LGC is very pleased to be working in association with La Belle Vie. Chloé Valera is a qualified massage therapist and beautician, in whose capable hands all the tension and strain of the day’s activities will disappear, leaving you ready to start the following day in great form!
Guided walks and climbs: LGC works with some of the most experienced and knowledgeable guides in the area. They will ensure you have a wonderful and memorable experience.
Tennis: The local tennis courts are a two-minute walk away and rackets and balls are available for your use from LGC.
Skiing: Le Mourtis ski station, up one of the most beautiful roads, le Col de Menté, is only half an hour’s drive away, and offers several runs of differing levels. There are restaurants, cafés, ski equipment hire and instructors on site.
Other activities: Including: paragliding, fatbiking, horseriding and river rafting. There are many historical and cultural sites nearby such as the St Bertrand de Comminges and the Grottes de Gargas.
